No Place Like Home is a short film made by visual artist Jez Dolan, composer Michael Betteridge, and film maker Lee Baxter.  It was filmed, composed and edited during the winter of 2022-23 and was produced by IAP:MCR.  

 

The film was a commission from Curated Place and Einkofi Productions as part of a much larger project: Moving Places: Sonic Flux that creatively explored the condition of displacement through personal testimony, original music and Digital Video/Film installations.  It connected musicians and visual artists that worked with the moving image with displaced people.  Together they explored stories of flux that have shaped modern European identity. 

 

No Place Like Home premiered in Reykjavik on Thursday 23 February 2023.
